Mulcahy LLP filed the following lawsuits on behalf the same franchisor client to recover unpaid fees, enforce the non-competition clause in the franchise agreements, and to protect the client’s trademarks and trade secrets against existing or former franchisees that were operating outside the system.
- Budget Blinds Inc. v. Collins, United States District Court, Orange County, California. The lawsuit is currently pending.
- Budget Blinds, Inc. v CJAS Enterprises, et al., California Superior Court, Orange County. Case voluntary dismissed by client on January 12, 2012 after securing favorable outcome.
- Budget Blinds, Inc. vs. Morgan, et al., United States District Court, Orange County, California. Judgment secured in favor of client on June 13, 2011.
- Budget Blinds, Inc. v. Jason Rhett Wilgers, California Superior Court, Orange County. Case voluntarily dismissed on August 27, 2010 after client obtained full compliance from the defendant.
- Budget Blinds, Inc. v. Walker, United States District Court, Orange County, California. Judgment secured in favor of client on May 19, 2010.
- Budget Blinds, Inc. v. Carlin, United States District Court, Orange County, California. Judgment secured in favor of client on March 19, 2010.
